Plock Court Meadow, Sue Trickey, Acrylic,2020

I created this painting (Plain air) at Plock Court Meadow, Gloucester in July 2020. It is a new style for me and I really enjoyed creating this using acrylics.

I entered this painting in the Art in the Park, Gloucester online art competition 2020 and was surprised and delighted that it was the winner with over 400 votes from FB and Instagram. The original artwork sold on day 1 of the competition and I have had many commissions for similar works. I am hoping to eventually create a series of flower meadow paintings from different locations.

If you would like me to paint you an original wildflower Meadow like this one, do message me for prices and I can let you know prices. I have to allow about 3 weeks to create one due to all the layers of paint and varnish needing to properly dry before sending. This one was painted on a box canvas where I paint all the sides and it is ready to hang without framing.

During 2020-2021 I have painted a further 6 originals on this theme for commissions. Each one is unique and all turn out with variations./ different sizes/different canvases.
